Sending a notice

Email or mail the agent a notice that includes:

Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name works in an email).
The copyrighted work you believe was copied, or a list of them if there are several.
Where it is on Mudbath: a link to the post, or the member's username and a description of the post. Since only members can see posts, tell us what you know and how you found it if you can't open it.
Your name, mailing address, phone number and email address.
A statement that you believe in good faith that the use isn't authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for them.

If something is missing, we'll ask you for it. Knowingly claiming that something infringes when it doesn't can make you liable for damages (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)).

Members can also flag a post with Report → Someone else's copyrighted work.

If your post was removed

If you believe your post was removed by mistake or because it was misidentified, send the agent a counter-notice that includes:

Your physical or electronic signature.
What was removed and where it appeared before it was removed.
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification.
Your name, address and phone number.
A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the district where your address is (or, if you live outside the United States, any district where Mudbath may be found), and that you'll accept service of process from the person who sent the notice or their agent.

We send your counter-notice, including your contact details, to the person who sent the notice. Unless they tell us within 10 business days that they've gone to court to keep it down, we put your post back 10 to 14 business days after we receive your counter-notice.

Repeat infringers

Members who repeatedly post other people's copyrighted work without permission are banned.
